Exactly what is this organization?

The Canadian Colorectal Cancer Support Network is simply a group of Canadian colorectal cancer patients and caregivers. We use a private group on Facebook to share our experiences and support each other. Some of us have beaten cancer, some of us are in active treatments, like chemo, radiation, or even waiting for a liver transplant. We are in the trenches every day trying to get through treatments, surgeries and the mental roller coaster of emotions that comes with this disease.

We are not a company or corporation or non-profit. We do not sell or promote any products.

how much does it cost to join?

Nothing, no charge.

who is allowed to join the group?

We restrict the group to Canadian patients with colorectal cancers (CRC) and their caregivers. If you have a different cancer, there are other support groups available to you.

are you associated with other crc groups or organizations?

No, we are a grassroots organization run by patients and caregivers. Members of the Canadian Colorectal Cancer Support Network also participate in many other Canadian and American organizations and support groups. We think it is very important for Canadians to share as much information with each other as possible. We will pull information from other resources and share.
